Fall is probably one of the most picturesque and colorful season to paint and it gives us so much inspiration (apart from flu)!

In Japan, there is even a special name for the months in fall when leave turn fiery orange and red - koyo, and the simple process of admiring such a beauty is called momijigari

Some of my favorite fall ideas to draw or paint:

  • Everything magic and Halloween related (see my 10-min Love potion markers sketch above)
  • Forest and all it brings, my mom just sent me amazing photos that I'll use as reference to paint some mushrooms. Do you want a tutorial? Hit reply and let me know!
  • Foliage and leaves in all their color diversity that autumn has.
  • Mountains covered in forests! Especially if there is something extra to it - for ex., a beautiful vermilion Pagoda, waterfall...
  • Cute forest animals. I have a simple drawing of a fox! Check the tutorial :)

Halloween is coming

Coloring pages can be used with any art supplies. But if you want to use alcohol markers, acrylic paint or watercolor, I suggest printing on thicker paper, including special watercolor paper.
